Quavo has returned with new songs in honor of his nephew Takeoff just days after making his first public appearance since the devastating death of Takeoff in November.

On Wednesday night, Huncho dropped “WITHOUT YOU,” his first single after Takeoff’s passing, as a surprise. Over Murda Beatz’s production, the rapper uses his auto-tuned harmonies to deliver a moving devotion.

Quavo remembers special moments like sharing a smoke with a friend and reaching important milestones like performing at Coachella.

The most heartbreaking part of the song, though, is when Quavo enters a stream of consciousness and sings, “Take, I’m sorry,” again.

Quavo posted a touching tribute to Takeoff on Instagram soon after his funeral. Quavo wrote in the article about their shared beginnings and growing up to Take’s creative rhymes, which helped the Migos reach the top of the charts.
