Rich Swann suffered a bad leg injury back in January, and he has been out of action since then. After a successful surgery, the former Impact X Division Champion is currently recovering
It’s obvious Swann is a talented performer, and Impact Wrestling certainly will need his skill once he comes back to action. Willie Mack, a good friend of Swann, revealed recently in an interview that he has kept in contact with the super star.
On speaking to Wrestling Inc, Willie Mack shared an update on Swann’s current injury status. He revealed that Rich Swann is making tremendous progress to recovery but admitted he’s not back to full health just yet.
“He’s doing good. He’s doing better than he was before and is walking around,” said Willie. “He’s not 100 percent, but he’s getting close.”
The friend went on to predict Rich Swaan could be back in action in a few more months.
“His recovery process should be good in a few more months, but we’ll see,” he added. “It will be good to have the homey back on the road again. I know he’s going crazy not being able to wrestle and just watching us wrestle.”
Despite being laid off, Impact Wrestling is carrying on in Swann’s absence. With the dramatic change in the current landscape of the company due to the re-introduction of the TNA World Heavyweight Title, fans might get to see him go after the title once he’s back, fully fit.
