On Sunday, a white cop in Kenosha, Winsconsin opened fire on an unarmed Black man who was simply walking away from him. The sad part of it was that he shot him seven times point-blank.
It was reported that witnesses confirmed that the victim was simply breaking up a fight when cops were called to the scene. While it’s unclear what unfolded from the scene, the video captures the crucial 20 seconds.
In the video, the victim was filmed walking away from a few officers, who appeared to be telling him to stop, with guns drawn. He instead continued his way around in a non-threatening manner and opens the door and attempts to get inside. At the point, one of the cops grabs hold of his shirt, and for some unknown reasons, he unloads seven rounds at arm’s length. The victim was later flown to a hospital where he reportedly listed as being in serious condition.
A protest is happening now after a domestic incident turned into an officer-involved shooting in #Kenosha at 40th St. & 28th Ave.

Recently, protests are growing by minutes, as many demands the immediate arrest of the officer who fired the shots.
Meanwhile, the case has again highlighted the inexcusable act of police brutality against the black community. Moreover, even if the man was disobeying the laws, he wasn’t violent, nonthreatening, unarmed, and there was no attempt to subdue him in the vehicle.
Now there are reports that the state Department of Justice is already taking over the investigation. Also, Kenosha PD, for its part, says officers on the scene provided immediate aid while noting that they instantly transferred the case to outside agencies.
