Utah Jazz star, Donovan Mitchell has tested positive to COVID-19, after few hours of his fellow teammate, Rudy Gobert, tested positive to the epidemic.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Utah Jazz players have been blaming Rudy Gobert for being careless with regards to how he continued physical contact with player’s belongings in the locker room, as well as with the players. Rudy Gobert has also received blames from the media as he was also rubbing his hands on the microphones and recorders jokingly earlier this week before he was fully diagnosed with COVID-19.
Owing to this recent COVID-19 epidemic, starting with Gobert’s case, the game between Jazz and Thunder has postponed and both teams have been quarantined with their players in the locker room. The NBA has also been suspended, with its resumption being slated for August.
Aside from basketball, other sports have also been affected due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Serie A and La Liga have been suspended, and other leagues have insisted that the various matches be played without the fans.
