Last month, we reported that R&B diva Faith Evans was arrested for domestic violence outside of her Los Angeles home. According to the details of the arrest, the person Evans assaulted was her husband Stevie J. When the police came to the scene; they noticed visible marks and scratches on Stevie as it revealed that he was caught by the wrath of Faith.
Although the exact cause of the fight was not made known, it was reportedly an argument that went out of control and ended with Stevie calling the cops after it appeared that he was physically attacked by Faith Evans.
Meanwhile, Faith was arrested on the scene and bonded out later that same day. However, before the arrest, there have been rumors that the couple is already at the last leg of their marriage. But now according to reports from TMZ, the couple may be on better terms now thanks to Stevie J who is not pressing for charges.
“Faith Evans is off the hook in her felony domestic violence case … TMZ has learned she won’t be prosecuted for allegedly attacking Stevie J.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office tells TMZ … they are declining to prosecute the singer because the alleged victim, her husband, declined to testify against her.”
Since their fight, the couple hasn’t had any nasty rumors, and Stevie J has even been vocal in recent interviews that he isn’t going anywhere. Hopefully, Faith Evans would learn from her previous actions.
