Putin Battling Parkinsons Disease And Cancer, Leaked Emails Claim: Report

A fresh story citing secret Kremlin documents claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin is battling both pancreatic cancer and Parkinson’s disease.

In messages obtained by The Sun, a Russian intelligence source seemed to validate long-held rumours about the 70-year-old strongman.

“I can confirm he has been diagnosed with early-stage Parkinson’s disease, but it’s already progressing,” the security services insider reportedly claimed.

“This fact will be denied in every possible way and hidden,” the source said, according to The Sun.

“Putin is regularly stuffed with all kinds of heavy steroids and innovative painkilling injections to stop the spread of pancreatic cancer he was recently diagnosed with,” the person said.

“It not only causes a lot of pain, but Putin also has a state of puffiness of the face and other side effects — including memory lapses,” the source continued.

“In his close circle, there are rumours that in addition to pancreatic cancer, which is gradually spreading, Putin also has prostate cancer,” the insider added.

Putin’s alleged ill health has been the subject of rumours for some months, with several unsubstantiated stories claiming the president is battling cancer.

Putin loves to portray himself as strong, thus the Kremlin has consistently denied that he has any diseases.

There have been persistent rumours regarding Vladimir Putin’s allegedly declining health for months.

The shocking news follows Putin’s appearance on camera, grasping a soldier’s arm while visiting a boot camp in the Ryazan region, with what appeared to be IV track marks on the back of his hand.

The mysterious spot on the Kremlin leader’s palm was evident in screenshots from the footage that journalist Jason Jay Smart of the Kyiv Post tweeted.

The footage of Putin’s trip was made available in two different versions, according to Smart, one of which included several watermarks that made it difficult to see Putin’s hand and the other which did not.

Tom Warner, a veteran Ukraine correspondent, offered a different explanation in which he hypothesized that what appears to be an IV mark may be “just a weird angle of bulgey [sic] veins.”

Vladimir Putin is photographed at a training facility in the Russian region of Ryazan when a mysterious mark, outlined in red, is visible on his right hand.

There have been numerous unfounded claims from the Telegram channel General SVR that have contributed significantly to the rumours regarding Putin’s alleged poor health. These reports stated that he has Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and schizoaffective disorder.

According to the independent Russian publication Proekt, whenever Putin travels on official business, he is always accompanied by medical professionals, including top oncologists.

In a rare comment regarding the president’s health, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov assured reporters that “all is great with his healthcare” after Putin postponed a trip to Kazakhstan in July.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, has been criticized by an expert for his “unhealthy appearance” through his body language.
