President Joe Biden may be joking around about a potential reelection bid, but that’s only because it appears that he will be running for office once more.

Before the new year, JB was in the U.S. Virgin Islands. A throng of media grilled him about officially declaring his candidacy for 2024, which he has stated he plans to do, but he added that he still needs to discuss it with his family.

His reaction down St. Croix is intriguing because those discussions were planned to take place around this time of year. Joe is positively dripping with sarcasm as he appears to be in high spirits about the possibility of running for president once more.

Check it out—the President jokingly claims that he was unaware that there would soon be elections. His grin is quite informative, though, as it is supported by what CNN’s Kevin Liptak describes as a resounding “yeah” from Joe’s side. In particular, Joe Biden will run for office.

Although there haven’t been any reports that corroborate Liptak’s claims, it would certainly be quite significant if they were. There have been whispers among senior Democrats that Joe should step down so a younger person can try running against Trump for president.

Although Joe’s first two years in office have been a bit of a mixed bag (some good, some bad) if he is truly reentering the race, that indicates he is certain he can win.
