Police have identified the alleged shooter who opened fire late on Saturday at a gay bar in Colorado, killing 5 people and injuring 18.
After being hurt in the incident at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, was detained and taken to the hospital, according to the reports.
As police and survivors revealed how the shooter had been subdued by at least two club patrons, tributes for the dead began to flood in early on Sunday.
“We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack,” Club Q published on its Facebook page.
