There is good news that Lil Yachty is safe despite the scare following an accident that wrecked his car. The “Oprah’s Bank Account” rapper was driving during a rainstorm on Georgia State Route 400 in Atlanta on Monday when his red Ferrari Spider spun out, crashing into a barrier along the shoulder of the road.
According to TMZ, there was a lot of standing water on the road, and Yachty lost control of the vehicle, leading it to hydroplane.
However, Yachty walked away relatively unscathed, with just minor injuries to his arm. After emergency crews responded to the scene, it was unclear whether the rapper was hospitalized afterward for treatment.
Yachty, who was very grateful for his survival took to Twitter following the accident. “So thankful for my life. Never take it for granted,” he tweeted late Monday.

The Ferrari didn’t fare as well, though. The exotic whip, which starts at $275,000, was totaled in the crash and is reportedly beyond repair.
Last May, Lil Yachty released his album Lil Boat 3 that features the Drake and DaBaby-assisted single “Oprah’s Bank Account,” with appearances from Future, A$AP Rocky, and Tyler, the Creator.
