On the day of his arrest at Rolling Loud, Kodak Black was allegedly photographed by a U.S. Marshal without his permission. As a result, Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, is sorting out a lawsuit.
The Miami Dade Police Department [MDPD] took a report showing that Kodak’s attorney has recently filed a complaint with them, alleging one of them illegally snapped and published a photo of Kodak Black while he was in custody back in 2019. However, according to the report, MDPD reviewed the matter and found out that the picture was not disseminated by their member but someone in the U.S. Marshals service.
Moreover, documents obtained by TMZ revealed the steps taken by MDPD to get to the end of Cohen’s claims. During the process, they discovered that a Miami-Dade cop, who was with Kodak Black the day he was arrested, claimed he was instructed by a high-ranking official, a U.S. Marshal Chief, per the officer to snap a photo of Kodak while he was cuffed. The cop said he did as he was instructed to and sent the picture along to the U.S. Marshal, who asked for it.

Meanwhile, Bradford Cohen claims that same photo served no law enforcement purpose, but still got into the inbox of a local Miami reporter. The reporter then published it in a local paper, which Cohen claimed it was all done without Kodak’s permission.
On the other hand, the Miami-Dade Sergent, who took the photo and sent it to the Marshal says the Marshal guy told him he needed it for “law enforcement purposes,” but Cohen dismissed those claims, saying it’s not true. He further argued that the picture was taken for personal use and/or gain.
Bradford Cohen, Kodak Black’s attorney, has now said he is taking legal action against the responsible parties.
At the moment, a rep for USMS said they can’t comment on the situation, but will definitely investigate thoroughly any allegations of misconduct.
