Kim Kardashian West has got the black community enraged after she attributed the braids she made to a white stylist, and not the black stylist who made the braids for her. The braids were the same one she wore to Paris last week.
She was exposed by Professor Stephanie A. Kimou, friend to Ciara Constenoble, who was the incredible black hairstylist that made the hair. Stephanie Kimou who narrated the whole scenario explained that Ciara did the braids in a room full of white folks, in the presence of Kim Kardashian’s stylist, Chris Appleton (White stylist). However, Kim Kardashian ends up attributing the style to Chris, not Ciara.
Nevertheless, Ciara Constenoble has taken to her Instagram account to credit herself for the braids.
In that same vein, we here at Crumour join the rest of the black community in solidarity, asking that due credits be given to black craftsmen who engage in any kind of service.
