Former “Empire” actor, Jussie Smollett, as said that the truth will come to his defense as he is being re-charged in court.
Almost a year ago, the State Attorney’s office dropped the original 16 count charge against him.However, he is getting re-charged to court on the charge of lying to the police after he claimed that he had suffered hate crime at the hands of hat-wearing thugs.
Nevertheless, Jussie Smollett has plead ‘not guilty’ to the charge, and his legal team are working on getting the court to dismiss the case on the ground of double jeopardy.
