Popularly known as Jimmy Fallon, American comedian, TV host, actor, and author James Thomas Fallon was born on September 19, 1974. After the cancellation of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he became the host of the late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, for which he is best known.
Inspired early on by comedians and musicians, Fallon relocated to Los Angeles at age 21 to pursue stand-up comedy. In 1998, he was given the opportunity of a lifetime when he was invited to join the cast of Saturday Night Live. He stayed with SNL for six years, from 1998 to 2004, eventually becoming a household name as a co-host of the show’s popular Weekend Update section. After leaving the show, he appeared in movies like Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).
After a stint in the movies, Fallon came back to television in 2009 as the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC.
