Hit-Boy is letting everything out following his fallout with billionaire mogul Kanye West. Previously, the big-name producer was signed to G.O.O.D. Music, where he produced major hits for Kanye, including “Ni**as in Paris” and “Clique.” However, all of that stopped and he’s now making some shocking revelations about the reasons.
“I haven’t been a fan of Kanye on a personal/ human level since he told me face to face he stopped picking my beats because I worked with Beyoncé,” the Grammy-winning producer wrote in his Instagram post. “this is after I produced ni**as in paris , clique, and a myriad of other songs / projects for him and his label GOOD Music in the 2 years I was signed with them.”
Despite Hit-Boy has personal grievances with Ye, it doesn’t influence his agreement with him when it comes to their publishing deals. Hit-boy also shared Kanye West’s recent tweet, where he called out Universal and Sony and said that he wanted to free his fellow artists from their unfair contracts. The super-producer equally said he has been signed to a “slave deal” with Universal since he was 19.
“This tweet is something I can agree with though. @umpg has held me in what the last 3 lawyers Ive hired have referred to as the ‘worst publishing contact they’ve ever seen’ since I was 19 years old,” Hit-Boy revealed. “Im 33 now and have multiple Grammys, produced a lot of your favorite artists biggest songs on top of turning in over 450+ records since I first signed and @umpg still doesnt have it in them to simply be fair.”

Hit-Boy recently executive produced Big Sean’s Detroit 2 and Nas’ King’s Disease and he now reveals he feared being blackballed, which makes him speak his truth. “If they’re doing this to me with all I’ve accomplished through hard work I can only imagine the kids who don’t have big placements/ proper guidance. If I have to be the one to get blackballed for telling the truth and trying to set the next generation free then so be it. Btw I produced 10+ joints on the CURRENT number one album in the country D2.”
At the end, Hit-Boy tagged Polow Da Don, Roc Nation, and Universal in his post and called for a resolution. “@umpg @polowdadon @jodyagerson @iamwalterjones and the company who’s helping me on the management side @rocnation let’s fix this. Slave deals are still very real /rampant in 2020. @universalmusicgroup,” said the producer.
Moreover, it didn’t take long until Kanye West responded to Hit-Boy’s claims, saying that he wasn’t opposed to him working with Beyonce, but he was unaware of it while he was signed to G.O.O.D. Music. “I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIM PRODUCING FOR BEYONCÉ,” Ye tweeted. “I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT HE WAS SIGNED TO ME AND I DIDN’T KNOW BUT I KNEW JAY AND BEYONCÉ AND HIT-BOY … JUST FOR CLARITY.”
Positively, Kanye applauded Hit-Boy for speaking out about his contract. Meanwhile, Ye has been waging war against the major labels for their unfair contracts. He tweeted his length contract with Universal page by page and vowed to continue the fight. Kanye West also share a video of his Grammy in the toilet while he urinated on it.
