After confirming their relationship on instagram last week, Da Brat has come out to open up more about her relationship with Jesseca Dupart. From the footage the ladies shared on instagram, Da Brat was physically emotional as she received an early birthday present from her partner, Jesseca Dupart, which a Bentley.
According to Da Brat, she has been keeping her relationship with Jesseca Dupart a secret for a while now just to protect Jesseca Dupart from scrutiny. She said, “I always been an advocate from privacy pretty much to protect the interest of the other party involved because if you’re not used to this life and the scrutiny that come with it, it can break you. I’ve been talked about for way over 20 years or more so my coat of armor is pretty thick, so I learn what to say and what not to say.”
Da Brat went on to add “I never confirmed anything because you know in the 90’s it wasn’t cool, but when you get blessed and somebody love you like you never been loved before. It’s like a whole different experience.”
Da Brat concluded that she and Jesseca Dupart are well prepared for future trials that could affect their relationship, citing that is completely happy to be with someone like Jesseca Dupart.
