Multiple sources utterly familiar with the knowledge of the situation have confirmed that the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been postponed, due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak.
The festival will be shifted from the weekends of April 10th and 17th, to the weekends of October 9th and 16th. This comes shortly after South by Southwest (SXSW) was was cancelled last Friday.
The cancellation of the festival comes at the same time when various related events have also been cancelled due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus. Green Day and BTS cancelled dates in Asia; Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, which was the first case reported in the U.S, before the South by Southwest cancellation.
Also, Seattle-based Pearl Jam has also cancelled their North America tour which was slated to start on March 18 in Toronto, and end on April 19 in Oakland.
