British soap star Ashvin Luximon has passed suddenly at 38.
The actor was widely recognised for his role in the long-running BBC soap EastEnders, where he recreated Asif Malik from 1999 to 2003.
Luxeon appeared in a total of 146 episodes.
His family announced that he died from an Aneurysm on July 23rd and paid tribute to their “loving son, brother and friend”, whose death, they said, had “hit them all hard.”
Before his role in EastEnders, Ashvin Luximon had appeared as a child actor in the school drama Grange Hill. He’d also performed on screen in British Airways promotional videos.
