Bethenny Frankel is unconcerned with how others see her desire for cosmetic surgery.
The 52-year-old former cast member of “Real Housewives of New York City” revealed on Sunday that she was “seriously considering” having surgery once more in an effort to be open with her followers about the procedure.
“I owe it to you to be totally transparent with you,” she started an Instagram video before revealing she previously got Botox in her jaw to sculpt her face, filler “once” and a breast lift “15 years ago.”
“In today’s world of filters and facetune and people being outright dishonest about how they look… it’s so important to me that I remain transparent about my physical appearance, especially now that I’m in this beauty space,” Frankel, who often goes makeup- and filter-free online, captioned the clip.
“I’m thinking very seriously about plastic surgery… and I want to share with you all the reasons why,” she continued, explaining later in the clip that she had been on a “plastic surgery consultation tour.”
“I will eventually do this,” she added. “I want to look like myself. I just want a little help along the way.”
The reality star acknowledged some of her followers might “disagree” with her stance on cosmetic procedures.
“Many of you will judge me, and that’s OK, as long as I’m being honest with you. You can disagree with my decision,” she said.
“But you will not judge me for lying because I won’t lie to you because we’ve discussed so many things with beauty and age, and that would be a full fraudulent scam.”
“I think these women are lying about everything. They’re lying about how much money they have. They’re lying about how much surgery they have. I don’t know why they’re insecure, but they are,” she said.
The former Bravolebrity has become known for posting honest beauty product reviews on social media since leaving “RHONY” in 2019.
