Since the advent of the coronavirus outbreak, the majority of the American workforce has been laid off. As a result, many workers are left without a paycheck coming into them. However, it’s not easy for those who have kept their work going to make ends meet as they put themselves at higher risk.
Some businesses termed essential, have carried on with their businesses the best way they can, such as frontline health workers, grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations. As a part of appreciation, many people visiting these businesses at this difficult time have gone out of their way to thank employees and express their gratefulness for their services during this period.
Tyler Perry is one such appreciative people as he decided to show love to employees of his favorite local Atlanta restaurant yesterday. According to reports from TMZ, Tyler decided to leave a tip of $500 for each of the 42 out-of-work servers.
It’s obvious the movie star is a big fan of the chain and while in quarantine, he has been frequent in driving over to the one on Northside Parkway to pick up some delicious grub. Maybe his regular visits have built a union with the employees, and yesterday, he decided to surprise them with a ‘Sunday Blessing’ package!
In his recent Instagram post, he had urged everyone to stay safe, pray, and keep up with the social distancing.
