- Maintain a full gas tank.

- Prepare your home with storm shutters or other protection.
The hurricane’s newest prediction cone has it reaching landfall in southwest Florida Wednesday morning, perhaps growing into a powerful Category 3 storm. A Category 3 hurricane would feature winds ranging from 111 to 129 miles per hour at its core.
