Cardi B shows appreciation to Megan Thee Stallion after their joint single “WAP” debuts atop Billboard Hot 100. Megan Thee took to Instagram to reveal the surprise gift she received from her “WAP” collaborator after they climbed the chart.
Meg shared a video of her unboxing the pricey handbag from an orange Hermes box. The orange Birkin was custom painted with a portrait of Megan Thee Stallion and a white tiger from the music video. While on the other side of the handbag, “Be Someone” is written on the Birkin, a nod to the famed graffiti art above interstate 45 in Meg’s hometown of Houston.
Then on the bottom of the bag, a personal message from Cardi is added. “Thank you, Meg, really appreciate you!” she wrote with a heart.

Megan Thee, who was grateful for the generous gift, thanked Cardi B. “thank you frennn omg I can’t believe you,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “I wonder what I’m gonna get her.”
Earlier in the week, “WAP” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 93 million U.S. streams, the biggest ever for a song in its first week of release. While on personal achievement, it extends Cardi B’s record as the female rapper with the most Hot 100 No. 1s, while Megan gains her second No. 1 following “Savage Remix” featuring Beyonce.
After hearing the good news, Hot girl Meg was overcome with emotion. “Me and cardi just got off the phone screaming,” she wrote. “FIRST FEMALE RAP COLLABORATION IN HISTORY TO DEBUT AT NUMBER 1 God is so great THANK YALL !!!”
Also, Meg shared a thank you message to her collaborator. “@iamcardib thank you for all your words of encouragement, thank you for all the laughs, & thank you for having me on the record.”
Cardi B also returned the love. “Breaking pop records! HIP HOP DID THAT !! I’m sooo fuckin happy .Im so proud of us !Yooo God is sooooo big,” wrote Cardi on her Instagram post. “I did NOT see this coming I wasn’t even expecting all this yooo. Wap Wap Wap!!!!!
