50 Cent is voicing his disagreement over the way Pop Smoke’s team has handled the release of the late rapper’s posthumous debut album, Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon. Although the hip-hop tycoon didn’t provide more details or name any specific people, he said he would no longer be involved going forward.

“I’m really not feeling the way the guys involved with Pop’s project are handling things,” 50 Cent tweeted, while also crediting himself for the album’s success. “I got it to this point it’s gonna be the #1 album. That’s good enough right, I’m gonna be unavailable moving forward peace.”

Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon was co-executive produced by 50 Cent, and the project was released on the 3rd of July. The album is now expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 210-230,000 equivalent album units. It’s also registering the highest-charting debut album by an international rapper in the U.K. in 17 years since 50’s own debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

50 Cent, who can be heard alongside Roddy Ricch on “The Woo,” spearheaded the project’s release following Pop Smoke’s death in February.

Meanwhile, 50, in an interview with Complex revealed why he decided to get involved in the project. “Not everything that I do is based on finances and money. This is not about money, because I’m not getting paid off the record,” he said. “I’m not taking anything from the proceeds from anything that has anything to do with this project. It is completely about how I felt about the kid when we were talking, and what I thought he could have done, period. I think the album showcases that. When people get a chance to really listen to it, it’ll grow on them.”
