Sources: Woman Arrested In Connection To Miami Beach Hit-And-Runs That Injured 2

According to law enforcement officials, a lady has been detained in relation to two hit-and-run accidents that happened on a popular section of Collins Avenue in Miami Beach and left a man and a woman hospitalized.

Late on Friday night, sources in law enforcement verified that Hanee Julieth Ramirez was apprehended by police in Medley.

The suspect is being questioned by Miami Beach Police officers at the department’s main office, and she will shortly be checked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade.

Lena Chiang, 61, and an unidentified male were struck by a car on different areas of Collins Avenue in Mid Beach on Thursday afternoon, and Ramirez is accused of operating the vehicle.

The male was hit at 57th Street, while Chiang was hit at 44th Street.

Both patients are still being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Chiang is stable and the guy is listed in critical condition.

Chiang expressed her gratitude for her life to News men over the phone.

“I felt so frightened. I was such in shock, so I asked Jesus to give peace, give me peace,” she said.
