Joe Exotic believes he should be next in line after President Biden struck a deal with Russia to free WNBA star Brittney Griner, and he’s making his case from behind bars.
In an audio, The “Tiger King” star states, “The whole Brittney Griner and Trevor Reed prisoner swap is a slap in every American’s face that is wrongfully detained in the American Federal Prison System, including myself.”
He then goes on to plead his case to the President, claiming innocence and naming his ex-costar Carole Baskin.
To be honest, Joe is drawing a ridiculous parallel between Brittney and himself here.
While she was imprisoned as a political pawn for Vladimir Putin, Joe was tried and convicted of hiring a hitman and other crimes related to the treatment of animals at his infamous wildlife park.
After nearly ten months in prison, US officials finally reached an agreement this week: Russia agreed to release Brittney in exchange for Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout… aka the “Merchant of Death.”
Back in February, BG was accused of bringing hashish oil in her luggage to a Moscow airport and was sentenced to nine years in prison.
Joe is serving a 21-year sentence, but he insists he’s innocent — jury or no jury — and completely deserving of freedom… something he’s been advocating for since Donald Trump took office.
He says, “a dangerous man was released for Brittney Griner to be free. It’s time Joe Exotic gets to go home for Christmas to be home with [boyfriend] Seth and his son for the first time in 5 Christmases.”
