The 19-year-old daughter of the former professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has reportedly been arrested over an alleged stabbing of a 25-year-old lady.
From the court documents, Iyanna Mayweather, a singer and social media figure, also known as “Yaya,” was arrested in connection over an “aggravated assault with a deadly weapon,” NBC Reports.
On Saturday, Iyanna was taken to a jail in Houston’s Harris County after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed some hours before the time she was arrested at about 1.30 a.m.
After stabbing, the woman was hospitalized, although the injuries sustained were not deemed life-threatening, according to a police official.
Meanwhile, some hours before the woman got stabbed, there was an altercation between Iyanna, her ex-boyfriend, NBA Youngboy, 20, and Youngboy’s current fiancee Lapattra Lashai Jacobs.
At a point during the argument, Iyanna is said to be holding two knives. TMZ reports that Jacobs said she was stabbed at least twice, once with each knife by Iyanna, who said Jacobs pulled her hair, resulting in the incident.
Reports from NBC also claimed that Iyanna was released from jail on a $30,000 bond. However, she will appear in the court on Monday for hearing.
