A Tennessee Democratic state senator running for Congress in the Nashville area says her husband has stage 4 cancer.
Heidi Campbell revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that her husband, Andrew, was diagnosed “out of nowhere” last week.
Heidi Campbell stated that her husband was scheduled to have surgery on Wednesday. She requested prayers, good energy, and healing thoughts for their family. They have two kids.
Campbell is running for the 5th Congressional District, which includes Nashville-Davidson County and five other counties.
Thursday marks the end of the 14-day early voting period for the Nov. 8 election.
