Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr. was born on January 17, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. Due to an error in the spelling of his name, which spelled Dwayne as “Dwyane” on his birth certificate, it led to his name being changed as his parents decided to leave it that way.

Dwyane Wade spent most of his 16-year profession playing for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA). After an effective school basketball career with the Marquette Golden Eagles, Wade was drafted fifth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Heat.

In his third season, Dwyane Wade drove the Heat to their first NBA Championship in establishment history and was named the 2006 NBA Finals MVP.
