#ProudlyNigerian trends on Twitter amidst Trump's Ban

Following the visa restriction policy which places ban on citizens of few countries from entering the U.S by President Donald Trump, one of the countries being Nigeria, Nigerians have taken to popular social media handle, Twitter, to reaffirm their patriotism and pride in the motherland.

The Cable News Network on Twitter released a 4-minute documentary showing the level of education (college) attained amongst immigrants of selected countries, and Nigerians ranked top with 58%, thereby questioning the rationality of the Trump-led administration policy.

The Visa Ban on Nigerians have been in effect since January this year, as special privileges accorded immigrants, including automatic visa for children born in the United States of America by immigrant parents, have been revoked.

Nigerians however have shown that they are not moved by the Donald Trump’s ban, as they continue to take pride in associating themselves with their motherland.
