Rapper Lil’ Boosie is in a severe need of his diabetes medication, which has prompted the Nasty Nasty rapper to call for help from his fans through an Instagram post to help get him the specific drug.
On Saturday, Boosie Badazz posted a photo of a “Lantus” injection pen, commonly used in treating people who have diabetes. The sit-at-home order has restricted movements in most parts of the world, and right now, it seems Lil’ Boosie is in an area of Florida where he can’t seem to get the medication himself.
As it stands now, it is something you could do anything possible to get help.
“Asap Anybody in the Jacksonville/Tampa area has this hit,” Boosie Badazz captioned his first message on Saturday with a picture of the injection pen. To make the matter even more serious, Lil’ Boosie included several phone numbers where people could reach him, in case if anyone wants to help him out.

As though the first message couldn’t fetch him the help he wanted, Boosie posted another message which appeared to be more serious than the first.
“Anybody n DUVAL AREA WITH THIS LANTIS MEDICINE DM ME YOUR NUMBER SO WE CAN MEET‼️ I REALLY NEED THIS, ” he captioned.
It’s no jokes as it turns out Boosie has Type 1 diabetes, which he was diagnosed with as a child. Meanwhile, he has never hidden his diagnosis from the public as he had spoken with XXL Magazine back in 2008 about his situation.
The 37-year-old rapper admitted he failed to treat himself properly at the beginning after his diagnosis, which almost cost him his life. “I’d go a month without taking my insulin shots, so I was just throwin’ up, losin’ weight, all kinds of s***. It was hard,” he revealed.
His fans popped on his IG to profer him with the little solution they could offer.
“Go to the ER. They will give you a prescription!” One fan wrote.
“Call a pharmacy ASAP. There should be one somewhere who is open or call the hospital, and they will call you in prescription,” said another. “Contact your pharmacy. They may be able to give you an emergency override,” the user added.

Insulin is a hormone that works by lowering levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. The Lantus pen is a synthetic form of a hormone (insulin) that is produced in the body. This type of Insulin is a long-acting insulin that starts to work several hours after injection and keeps working evenly for 24 hours.
