“I need an angel” hitmaker, R Kelly has called out to Illinois federal court centers to let him out of jail based on his fear of coming down with COVID-19.

R. Kelly’s plea were made know via a motion filed by his attorney, Steven Greenberg, on Thursday, as he also refers to the danger he is being exposed to while being held at Chicago MCC, as cases of the COVID-19 pandemic keeps on rising.R. Kelly maintained that despite any measure taken with regards to sanitation (which he claims is substandard), there is a rather huge risk of contacting the virus while being held there. He stated that detergents are only available to inmates who could afford them, and the hand sanitizer can only be used by the facility’s staff only.With these options, Kelly believes his life and health will be in grave danger if he continues to remain incarcerated in the Chicago MCC. Hence, R. Kelly wants to be released on bond, admitting that he is also willing to be on electronic monitoring device, if possible.

In answering the question of where he would be saying, Kelly notes that he would be staying with his last remaining girlfriend, Jocelyn Savage, and the location will be at an apartment complex in Chicago.

Earlier on, reports suggested that the attorneys for R. Kelly were kept from seeing him last week, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Kelly has stated that this does not stop the spread of the virus, as there are new inmates coming into the facility.
