Number Of Injured In Club Q Shooting Is Revised Upward

Four more people have been hurt in a shooting attack at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, according to police, who made the announcement on Monday.

The most recent update did not modify the number of people killed and shot in the incident at Club Q on November 19: five people were killed, and 17 others were shot and injured.

However, according to the police, there are now five identified victims who were hurt but were not shot. Twelve more people are categorized as victims who lack obvious wounds.

When the shooter, identified as 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich, started shooting at Club Q, there were more people there, according to a statement from the police. According to the report, more potential victims without visible wounds may have left the building before police arrived.

Homicide is being looked at in relation to the deaths. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will ascertain the cause and manner of death after autopsies have been completed, according to the statement.

Five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of perpetrating those murders as part of a prejudiced attack have been brought against Aldrich. An El Paso County court ordered him to be jailed without bond last week.

According to the district attorney’s office, those deemed victims in the incident, including those who fled, heard the gunfire, or were there, may be eligible for compensation, counselling, and other support.
