According to Bismack Biyombo, the NBA player stated while delivering the COVID-19 relief material, that “We have never experienced a crisis of this magnitude. Seeing my home country suffer in this capacity is devastating.”
Bismack Biyombo went on to state that “I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to figure out a way to help those suffering in the DRC. I am pleased to announce that The Bismack Biyombo Foundation delivered over 10,000 masks and 780 hazmat suits to the DRC this week.”
The NBA forward’s foundation, The Bismack Biyombo Foundation, has stated that DR Congo has been faced with a lot of deadly diseases in recent times, from malaria to the deadly Ebola virus, and more, which has left the county in more danger as it battles COVID-19.
