Kanye West has been sued for $20 million over Sunday Service technology. MyChannel, Inc. filed suit against the Yeezy mogul, claiming he invited them in the spring of 2018 to develop video and e-commerce for his Yeezy brand, including Livestream technology for his popular Sunday Service series.
According to the suit obtained by TMZ, the business owned by a Black says it worked non-stop for six months put in 10,000 person-hours together with a $7 million of its own, with the promise of a future $10 million investment from Yeezy.
Also, at the request of Kanye West, the company moved its headquarters twice, once to Calabasas and once to Chicago.
However, after six months, the billionaire mogul would cut ties with the company and allegedly stole its technology for his newly-launched Sunday Service. MyChannel again claims Kanye’s promises of a partnership were part of an effort to advance Yeezy and steal confidential tech used for the monetization of Sunday Service.
Now the company is seeking more than $20 million in damages.
