General Thomas-Alexandre Dumas (1762–1806)

Thomas-Alexandre Davy da Pailleterie, also known as Alexandre Dumas, is a general of the French army and has become one of the highest blacks in the continental European army of all time. Born in Santo Domingo (Haiti), Alexandre Dumas is a mestizo, the son of a white French nobleman and mother of African descent.

In 1776, at the age of 14, he went to France to live with his father, who left Santo Dominger a year ago. Dumas’s parents are a typical representative of a noble son. In 1786, he was 24 years old and joined the French army in his private capacity. But his father refused to let him use his name at the lowest level of the army. As a result, Thomas deprived himself of his first name, took his mother’s last name and joined the army as Alexander Dumas.

In 1792, Dumas became a colonel and married Marie-Louise Labor. The following year he was promoted to army general in the Pyrenees. Eventually, he joined Napoleon Bonaparte in Italy and later in Egypt, questioning Bonaparte’s policies. The innovation between them is permanent. The general rejected a decent pension and soon a man died in his head.

Alexandre Dumas is the son of Alexandre Davy de La Pailleterie and author of the Count of Monte Cristo and the Three Musketeers. He is considered one of the most widely read French writers of all time.

After the death of General Dumas in 1806, the family went through a difficult period: young Alexandre came to Paris to earn a living. He got a job in the house of the future Duke of Orleans, King Louis Philip, but he tried to make money in the theater. The drama of Dumas was widely welcomed in the late 1820s and early 1830s. Although he continued to write, Dumas turned to historical novels, eventually writing the books mentioned above and his writings. It’s well known.

Alexander Pushkin is considered by many to be Russia’s greatest poet and founder of modern Russian literature. After his mother’s great-grandfather Abram Petrovich Ganibal was enslaved and brought back to Russia from Africa, Pushkin was born to a Russian nobleman in Moscow, where he became a nobleman. Pushkin’s historical novel Blackamoor by Peter the Great comes from his great-grandfather.

Although Pushkin was considered a nobleman, he was often racially discriminated against because of his African tradition. In my family tree, your justification for blasphemy of your ancestors is the answer to your critics’ racial smiles. He is clearly considered black and is closely associated with the enslaved Africans in America. In a letter dated 1824, he said, “You can judge Greek affairs like my black brother and expect them to be saved from an unbearable slave.”
