As per the policy stipulated by the State of Alabama, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, gatherings have been limited to a maximum of 10 people or less, including for funerals. So owing to this, the family of the Ex-NFL player is planning on making and rotating shifts of 10 people per shift, so they can all pay respects to Tarvaris Jackson. However, for fans and mourners who may not be able to attend the funeral due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the True Baptist Church intends to stream the ceremony live on its website, while the family members of the late Tarvaris Jackson will be streaming the funeral on social media. Before his death, Tarvaris Jackson was a pick in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and he played for the Minnesota Vikings, Bills and Seahawks during his career. Tarvaris Jackson was known for serving as Russell Wilson‘s backup in Seattle, where they won a Super Bowl in 2014. Upon his death, Russell Wilson took to Twitter to tweet a heartfelt message to his dead colleague, saying, “TJack… you will be missed. Praying for your family … Love you, man.”
