According to Moscow police, four bodies were discovered at a home close to the University of Idaho.
According to NBC station KTVB of Boise, police labelled it as a homicide case, and the institution sent a notice to subscribers advising its community to hide in place or avoid the campus since a suspect was “not known at this time.”
The way of death is not mentioned in a police report, and no victim information, including gender and age, was initially available.
In the statement, Capt. Tyson Berrett added, “This is a continuing investigation.” As soon as the next of kin is notified and we have information to provide, the information will be updated.
Later, the institution removed its advice to stay indoors and tweeted that there was no longer a threat to the student body, according to authorities.
Just before noon, according to the agency, officers were dispatched to the King Road residence, which is a half-block from the university.
The Moscow Police Department extends its sincere condolences to the victim’s family, friends, and the Moscow neighbourhood, Berrett stated.
