Dababy, just a week of topping Billboard 200 charts with his album, Blame It On Baby, is facing fresh assault allegations. The allegation, this time is coming from a driver who claims the rapper attacked him after an argument.
On the reports obtained by TMZ from law enforcement, the driver was hired to pick up Dababy in Las Vegas back in November. The rapper and his friends are said to light up a joint as they piled into the Mercedes Sprinter van. Cops reported that Dababy and his friends cussed out the driver and threatened him after he had told them they couldn’t smoke inside the van.
The report continued to narrate that the driver claimed he received a punch at the back of his head from Dababy when he requested for his payment as they arrived at the hotel. He claims Baby went on to tell him, “You ain’t the boss.”
Also, one of his friends reportedly told the driver, “You’re lucky you’re not in my city because I would have killed you cracker motherf***er.” As they picked their belongings, another person allegedly said they “would have left him [the driver] dead on the road,”
Meanwhile, there is now an active warrant to arrest Dababy for misdemeanor battery.
Previously, the chart-topping rapper has been reportedly accused of assaulting and robbing a club promoter in Miami, while also attacking a hotel employee who tried to snap him with his daughter. Again, last March, he allegedly slapped a female fan during a concert in Tampa before apologizing.
Now, Dababy has taken to his Instagram Story to deny the assault accusations to be true. He has called TMZ’s report “100% false,” in his IG Story.
“Y’all stay positive,” he added. “The devil gone always try you when you doing good.”
