Tekashi 6ix9ine appeared to be doing the right thing only for him to learn that his good deeds can not be accepted. Following the release of his new single “Gooba” last week, the rapper announced his plans to donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the project to charity. Meanwhile, TMZ reported that 6ix9ine made over $2 million in less than a week from the hit.

As case may be, 6ix9ine’s ten percent donation would have benefited “No Kid Hungry,” a non-profit organization that works to ensure the end of child hunger, which has skyrocketed as a result of this coronavirus pandemic. Surprisingly, the non-profit has turned down his donation attempts, thanking him in a statement explaining their reasons for turning down his generosity.

“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry, but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” a statement from the organization read. “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

6ix9ine was not happy to learn that his generous gesture was turned down, just like anyone else wouldn’t be. Hence, taking to Instagram, the “Gotti” rapper blasted “No Kid Hungry.”

“@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel,” Tekashi wrote in a since-deleted post.

Rap-Up

Ever since being released from prison to home confinement, Tekashi has been thriving despite being controversial in most cases. His most recent music video for “Gooba” has received over 120 million views on YouTube since it dropped last Friday. With that, he’ll be in line for next week’s top spot in charts, which he already has his eyes on.

“DONT LET THEM CHEAT US OUT THE NUMBER 1 LOOK AT THE NUMBERS ! WE BEATING EVERYONE AND THEY MOTHER ON EVERYTHING !” Tekashi said as he shared the screenshot of his YouTube views alongside Drake’s “Toosie Slide.” “They hate to see this shoutout to drake he’s the goat, but this has to be seen.”
