One person was killed in a gunshot outside a high school football game in Florida, which forced players and spectators to flee for their lives.
According to Eric Smith, the city’s police chief, a shooter opened fire in the parking lot amid a confrontation between two groups as Orlando’s Jones High School was wrapping up a playoff victory over Wekiva High.
Players and spectators raced to the other side of the stadium following the shootings, according to the Orlando Sentinel. One adult was found dead and another was injured as police raced to the parking lot, according to Smith.
He claimed that four young people, one of whom had a pistol, had been detained.
No charges were brought right away, and no names have been made public.
